Future Stars

Program Details:

  • Off and/or On Ice Warm Up
  • Skill Training to continue to progress through skating levels. Future Stars will prepare the skater for ISI tests, ISI Competitions, and Basic Skills Competition. We will also start to introduce USFS Moves in the Field training as the skaters enters the Freestyle/Freeskate levels
  • Each skater receives a skating program (if they don’t already have one) set to music to learn how to connect skills together and to start learning about Choreography, musicality, and body movement.
  • Once a skater starts the Future Stars program, they will receive one FREE Future Stars sweatshirt as part of the registration. Additional sweatshirts may be purchased for $25
  • Future Stars members can be class assistants in our Learn to Skate programs. Class assistants will be paired with a Team Coach and will help with attendance and be demonstrators for the class. There is no extra fee for this privilege and Future Stars must wear their Future Stars sweatshirt on the ice when they are assisting any coach during Learn to Skate.
  • The Future Stars program will prepare skaters for competitions and ice show without the need for private lessons. However, skaters may hire a RoseGarden Ice Arena staff coach for supplemental training (see private lessons for pricing).
  • Future Stars skaters are eligible for training packages which include their class, freestyle practice, and off ice classes at a reduced rate. Training packages are a complete way to train and include everything a skater needs to be prepared and well rounded. Skaters can use the freestyle session for practice or may book private lessons (at an additional charge paid directly to the coach).
  • Competitions are available throughout the season and the additional fees. Competition entry fees, competition coaching fees, and competition costumes are not included in the price of the class. These fees and costs are an additional charge. Please be aware that competition applications are due approximately 1-2 months before an event. Please ask your coach for assistance in making sure you are registering for the correct events and that you are aware of the fees prior to submitting your competition entry form.   • Competitions RoseGarden ISI team will be attending 2017 Season
  • Required Equipment: Gloves/mittens, notebook for class that skaters bring out onto the ice each week. All skaters must be dressed in appropriate training attire and long hair must be secured.
