Assumption of Risk:
Participants/skaters assume all risks and danger of personal injury arising from, or related in any way to, admission to the RoseGarden Ice Arena and including specifically, but not limited to, the danger of being injured by ice skates, pucks, sticks, injuries that result from collisions or contact with other skaters, injuries from falls, and/or injuries that involve objects or artificial structures that are properly within the intended path of the skater.
The holder agrees that the RoseGarden Ice Arena and its employees are expressly released by Holder for claims arising from such causes. The Holder further agrees to abide by the policies of the RoseGarden Ice Arena and the instructions of RoseGarden personnel. By the purchase of admission to any skating session, the Holder consents to the above assumption of risk and to the use of his/her image, without payment or consideration, in any news broadcasts, commercial broadcasts, advertising or promotional publicity for the Rose Garden Ice Arena.
Public Skate / Facility Rules:
1. No running or horseplay
2. No Freestyle (Jumps or spins) is allowed on Public Skate
3. No stick or puck (ball) play allowed outside the ice surface. (not permitted in general/lobby areas)
4. RoseGarden is a non-smoking facility
5. Skating in a manner that endangers or interferes with other skaters safety or pleasure is strictly forbidden
6. Roughness, excessive speeding or weaving through other skaters is prohibited
7. No tag or games of any kind are permitted on or off the ice
8. No more than two people can skate together
9. No one is permitted on the ice without skates
10. Skaters are not allowed to carry children or secondary items such as cameras, cell phones, handbags, etc while skating. Skaters are not permitted to where earphones when skating.
11. Patrons must not sit, lean over, or leave articles on the dasher boards
12. Exits are to be kept clear at all times
13. Incidents or malicious behavior or destruction are to be reported to the manager/supervisor immediately
14. Throwing snowballs or any object is strictly prohibited
15. RoseGarden Ice Arena is not responsible for any personal items stolen or left within or around the premises
16. Parents are responsible to watch their own children at all times. Children ages 13 years and younger can not be left unattended in the lobby.
17. Keep out of all unassigned locker rooms, score-keeping areas, locked, or marked ‘no entry’ areas
18. Skates are to be worn only on the ice or in areas covered by protective flooring
19. RoseGarden ice aids (walkers and seals) are the only aids allowed on the ice during sessions and are only to be used by beginning skaters.
20. No food or drink allowed on the ice at any time
21. Do not pick holes, chop, or alter/damage the ice in any way.
22. Only skate in the announced direction
23. Children under the age of 12 years must not be left unsupervised in the RoseGarden Ice Arena. A non-skating parent must be on the premises. No-Drop off policy.
24. All skaters must pay and/or sign in BEFORE going on the ice
25. Anyone caught stealing or defacing Norwich RoseGarden Ice Arena property will lose skating privileges and/or be ejected from the facility
~ Violation of any of these rules may result in suspension of skating privileges and/or ejection from the facility ~
